02:09 pm - USPS smoking crack

Previous Entry Share Next Entry

Perhaps someone can tell me how USPS can send me a letter with a scanned image of a cheque from an envelope I sent to PG&E ... telling me that they could not deliver or return it? (1) They're the postal service... delivering letters would seem to be what they're meant to do, no? (2) If they can't deliver to PG&frickin'E, what the hell can they do? (3) If they can send me a letter saying they could not return my letter, why could they not return my letter? (4) What frakking crack are they smoking?

Oh, right, also, they said, "We've helpfully shredded your original letter.", or something to that effect.

... what the frak?!

My guess is that one of their machines ate the letter...

Have you called them about it yet?

I wasn't necessarily going to bother calling USPS. I already sent a cheque for the balance of the new bill plus the past-due balance some time last earlier week anyway, so I don't need to call PG&E yet.

Oh, and I had talked to PG&E about the past-due balance and the fact that I had sent a cheque already, and had them put a note on the account and an extension anyway.

I once got a misaddressed letter (addressed to me, but the sender spelled almost everything about my address incorrectly) delivered to me in little pieces inside a plastic baggie. I guess it got mangled in a machine, but I was kind of impressed that they figured out it was supposed to go to me period.

Indeed. I'm still lost as to their logic.

The answer to this is that the system is trying to own you. Remove that possibility.
