Howl's Moving Castle - Nothing to See Here

Damn, it was good!
Hayao Miyazaki has done it again. His latest film, Howl's Moving Castle, was incredible. I loved Sen to Chihiro no Kamakakushi (aka Spirited Away), but I actually think I might go so far as to say that Howl's Moving Castle was even better.
I went to see it with urox,
lianthe and another friend/colleague at the AMC Kabuki 8 in San Francisco. We were really hoping that, being in Japantown, it would be subbed, but alas it was dubbed. Nonetheless, the dub wasn't too bad, and it didn't stop us enjoying the heck out of the film!
I (well, we all) really want to see it sub-titled now.

As it turns out, the movie isn't in wide release yet. They ARE released a subtitled version, but I don't think its going to show up until after the 17th. At which point I intend to call and hound every theater that is showing it in a 40 mile radius of my home until I find one that is showing it subbed.

Yay! You can take the north penninsula/city and I'll take the south bay/penninsula and we'll figure out who's showing it. =)
