I'm still not caught up on stuff since returning from Japan. Not at all. I still have that write-up of the trip to come, but it's not all written yet. We did finally send out our last (at least for the time being) "thank you" cards. Writing the remaining ones took our entire Saturday and Sunday (except for a trip to Berkeley for a party for a few hours) last weekend. I haven't even started trying to read LJ again. I really want to, but so little time. So much to do. So little time.
To keep you tided over until I manage to do a real update:

You actually think you'll be able to get caught up? I was looking at +900 when I got back.. already not retrievable unless I wanted to go person by person down my friends list. And each day I would lose more if I didn't try to catch up on those others.

I don't really mean "catch up on everybody's posts from while I had no time to read". I mean "finish writing stuff to post, and then begin reading again" (from "now", not from where I left off).
