08:01 pm - Now with ankle-spraining video!

Previous Entry Share Next Entry

I predicted that there might be video of this on YouTube. I couldn't find it back then, but apparently the multi-talented J.C. Hutchins found video and posted about the event (not so much about my injury though) on MINE!

So, for your viewing amusement, I hereby present Jonathan Coulton, the zombie attack, and my injury -- LIVE ON THE INTERNET!

There! Was that fun?

Near the end, as I'm trying to get up and turn at the same time, I sort of roll, except that my ankle didn't so much roll as pull and bend nastily.

H really liked that video! She was pointing at the screen, saying "eh eh eh" and clapping. Maybe I need to get her some Jonathan Coulton CD's.

Come on man... that doesn't look like if hurt at all. Nothing that a couple of Tylenol wouldn't fix anyhow :)

I am not inclined towards wimpiness. :P I walked on it for 2 days afterwards, including walking off the stage right afterwards, and for several hours later that night, the next day, and then the next, through 3 airports, lugging luggage.

By the time we got home, my whole ankle and foot were swollen up to twice the size, all SORTS of colors, and it was very painful indeed if I put any weight on it.

The doctor declared it to be "badly sprained".
