Trash day resource conflict - Nothing to See Here

09:09 pm - Trash day resource conflict
I just got back inside after having to rush outside to ask the person parking in front of our house (there was a different car parked there an hour ago) to park elsewhere since that's where our trash cans have to go out tonight. This seems like a frustrating problem.
Anybody have any good ideas on how to deal with this?

Because if the car is just parked in front of the curb where the trash cans go, isn't that fine? That happens all the time here in the city and the garbagemen (or women!) still take the trash; although I personally prefer not to park in front of people's trash cans simply because it's unpleasant to unload your passengers directly into a trash can.

They must be put out by 06:00 on trash day, each can facing outwards, wheels back against the curb, at least 18" apart.
Maybe the garbage service will read it and take it away for you when they do their rounds.
Vaguely similar to this answer to my tweet about this LJ post:
VladeKladivo @mavjop I suggest you put trash on car. They no park there no more. Really do this if car is Russian piece of shit.
(These answers are, ur, from someone tweeting in character as a Czech character from a Seth Harwood novel, thus the weird Russian stuff).VladeKladivo @mavjop they might not, but if car is piece of shit then they take it too
Step 1: Move trash cans to desired spot on street
Step 2: Anchor to the ground with asphalt piercing bolt gun
Step 3: Fill trash cans with concrete
Step 4: Attach reactive armor to concrete filled trash cans
Step 5: Obtain can of "succotash" from grocery store
Step 6: Apply succotash / gorilla glue mixture to windshield of car nearby
Step 7: Create chalk body outline on street
Step 8: Set up webcam
Step 9: Film ensuing hilarity
Step 10: Profit
Step 11: Jail
Step 12: Tell-all book
Step 13: Profit
