Stupid movie *shudder*"meme"*shudder* -- 99

"Supposedly if you've seen over 70 you have no life. Number the ones you've seen. Put your score in header and repost." (Yes, it says "number", but I'm just doin' what the person I copied this from, urox, did, and probably what the person she copied it from did, and what the person they copied it from did, and ...).

YAY! I have no life! Excellent!

If I had been going to as many movies in 2001-present as I was in 1999/2000, I'm sure I could've marked off a lot more of these as "seen".

TWoP posts summary of "Serenity"!

Television Without Pity just posted a summary of Serenity (URL courtesy of lianthe):It looks to be a really fantastic summary/review, but it's 35 PAGES long so I haven't got time now to read all of it. Wow.

Oh, and the title of the page is rather amusing:
    Television Without Pity >> Firefly >> Recaps & Extras >> Season 2 Episode 1
BSG Ship

It's the frakkin' truth!

So, I was writing it as "frak", and crankyfool opined that it was "frack". Well, I've sort of been using the two interchangeably, but I really wasn't sure about the whole 'c' thing. I was dubious about it. I had a bit of a look around, but it was actually crankyfool who disproved his earlier assertion and confirmed my suspicions. He found the following two sources:
  1. http://www.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Frak (from the fan perspective)
  2. http://blog.scifi.com/battlestar/archives/2005/02/ (from Ron Moore's blog)
So. It's definitely "frak". The adjectival form appears to be "frakking" (actually, wondering about the adjectival form was what originally had me rethinking spelling a while back).
